National Day of Fasting and Prayer
The Guyana National Broadcasting Authority joins in observing the National Day of Fasting and Prayer on, April 08, 2022.
In a rare occurrence, the three significant religious observances in Guyana are overlapping this month; the Christian community observing Lent, the Hindu community observing Chaitra Navratri, and the Muslim community observing Ramadan.
This offers a meaningful opportunity for Guyanese from all religious persuasions to come together to pray for Guyana.
